What’s inside of my IPSY Bag? “Floral Fantasy” | March 2015

A few days ago I got my first IPSY Bag, and I am really exited to share what I got with you guys, along with my thoughts on the product and the service overall… Let’s start!

My first thought was about the bright pink shipping packaging bag that the signature makeup bag comes in with; that right there totally caught my attention, then I went ahead and opened it; I was very surprise about everything that came inside of the blue/flowered pattern makeup bag, design inspired under the Spring time and named “Floral Fantasy” I love it!. Anyway…I was given a few, full size products, and a bush, that, got me very excited. And without any more further ado, and me finally stop the blabbering here’s what I got on IPSY Bag!

And I also got very excited and I took pictures of all of the swatches I made to share it with you guys! I also need to mention that I love the brush I got, It’s a concealer brush from Crown Brushes that I mostly use to apply cream based products on my face; the oil treatment I may add that smells really good and I honestly haven’t seen any changes towards the usage of it onto my hair.

Overall I loved this month IPSY Bag, It is totally worth more money than the 10$ subscription that I paid, at least this is the case with this month bag. I will keep on being subscribed to this amazing company.

Hope my review and thoughts was helpful for you guys, let me know your thoughts, suggestions, requests, also let me know if you have any questions regarding the product. Don’t forget to share it with your peeps and give us your feedback! until next time! muah!

Haul: Hair Care, Skincare, American Eagle, BCBG, and more…

Hey Guys! Happy New Year! May all of your wishes and resolutions come true this 2015, and let us be next to you this 2015! Well… You guys now how after Christmas time and the end of the year, the stores come out with this insane and amazing deals, right!?. Well I took advantage of that and I got this collective haul to show to you guys, I’m so exited with everything I got also my Birthday was a few days ago and I got quite a few goodies that I want to share with you, so let’s jump right in.

First off, I went to CVS, they were having amazing deals, such as, get $20 worth of this brand of products and get $10CVS dollars back, which I actually thought it was amazing (if you are very specific with the person who’s ringing you up) with this promo I got a few products for free, and I love them also.

First thing I got was the “11222Aveeno Positively Radiant line” in which I got the daily scrub, a night repair cream, and the daily moisturizer. I was looking for the matching toner, but I couldn’t find it at the store, I wonder if they even have it on the line!, lol. Any who, I’ve been using this products for a little over a week maybe roughly 2, and I love them so far, If you guys want a more in depth review of each one or any specific product let me know in the comments down below or twitter, I’ll be more than happy to do so.

After I was done with my skincare shopping I went ahead into the haircare section, since I was meaning to get a good deep repairing mask, anyways, and I came across this Sulfate-Free line by L’oreal. Andsdfasdf asd previously to that I was reading a lot about how really bad sulfates are for our hairs and how we strip down our cuticle, leaving our hair dry, and with split-ends.

In this line you have a lot of options to choose from, according to the needs of your hair, they have a line for damage hair, for colored treated hair, dry hair, curled hair, and so on.. I decided to get the Oil Infusion because I thought that, this particular line was the one that met my hair needs, and just as preview of the review, I think I found my new Holy Grail Hair Care Products so far (I’ll go more in depth in a Blog Review, that will come very soon so stay tuned).

Moving on to clothes… I got a few things for myself and received another ones as Birthday presents so this is more like a lot’s of events collecting haul. If you guys know me at all by now, you know how much I love sweater and long sleeves shirts, and I got quite a few of those, let me share it with the following…

sweaterweather naticashirt

From left to right starting with the blue sweater by BCBG, a sweater with and angled end it’s so comfy and perfect for layering or wearing it on it’s own. Next one it’s an American Eagle, waffle sweater; so soft to the touch and incredibly comfortable to wear, I got this one online and at first I thought I was getting a black sweater and when I got it I finally realized it was dark gray instead. Actually, turned out perfectly  since it’s a lot more easier to combine with the rest of my clothes and perfect to add any pop of color.

Last one but not least it my, what I like to call “business in the front, Party in the back Sweater” since it has this sheer material at the back, that I think it will be so much fun to pair it with some leather jeans or something, what do you think!? leave a comment down below!bussinesinthefrontpartyintheback

Another big obsession of mine are scarves and they can not go missing on my hauls, I got a Red Infinity Scarf by American Eagle and I got the green scarf as a Gift, that I made myself as an infinity scarf (Do you want a tutorial on it!?) I totally love these new scarves an I cannot stop wearing them, lol. Scarvesafhhfaf

And the last tree things I got are big!, lol at least for me they are, I got a pair of dark brown boots from American Eagle, they are so comfortable to walk in and the fit it’s perfect, I also got a coat also by American Eagle and OMG you guys it’s the comfiest coat ever, and the warmest I feel so secure every-time that I leave the house with my coat on, I now I’ll be warm for sure, I love it and highly recommend it for really cold winters! And last I got a Purse from Just Fab, I had this amazing deal and discounts that I only ended up paying like 10 bucks, and I think it was the greatest steal from my shopping haul.

Hair Care Haul

Recently I went on a little shopping spree for hair care and got so many cool stuff, Some of them I have tried before and some are new and exiting. I’ve been using most of this products this past week and I can give you a mini review of all of the products. If you guys want a more in-depth review and DEMO of the product make sure to leave a comment in the comments section down below or contact us through all of our media platform, we love hearing from you <3.

WithWP_000779out more further a do. Let’s jump right into the HAUL!

Fist thing I got was the was the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Styling Treatment Oil, I got a little sample of this big wonder, tried it, finished all up, and ended up being totally in love with this product.

This little baby helped my hair to gain body, shine, and just be more healthy overall; this doesn’t make you have the “appearance of healthy hear” it actually gives you healthy hair over time. It has a light weight formula that leaves your hair shiny and with a lot of hydration without weighing it down, it’s just so awesome. I would totally recommend this if you have really damaged hair regardless of the type of damage that you may have, it’s really worth the shot. I would also said that it’s best to use it on wet to damped hair for better absorbance and for more lightweight feeling, but you can also use after you styled the hair as a seal.

I was running out of my Guardian Angel Heat Protectant, and so I decided to go for something a little bit more high-end, and also they had a 2 for the price of one deal, that I just couldn’t resist. And I ended up getting 2 bottles of the KENRA Platinum Blow-Dry Mist. WP_000781

When it comes to this product I have, some kind of love and hate relationship. First of all I just want to address the fact I use this product for Blow-Drying purposes as well as Flat Ironing or Curling Iron, that being said!. I totally HATE the greasy feeling that it gives when you are flat or curling ironing your hair and the first finish result its just a greasy hair, and the first thing that crosses your mind is: “oh gosh!, look at all of this oily mess and I just washed my hair today” and once you are finished and you let you hair settle for a little while, you just end up with this amazing bouncy hair that is also full of body. and that’s what’s makes me keep reaching for this product.

Also my hair has been showing less and less split ends, ever since I started using this mist. I would recommend it, because it’s a good product the end result it’s beautiful, the smell it’s just right, and it really does cuts down the styling time.

WP_000780

I also got the It’s a 10 Miracle leave-in PLUS Keratin, Just cause I wanted to try it out, and guess what!? This is perfect to use in your hair care routine to avoid UV damage and protects, or just as a leave-in conditioner that has that little extra something. This is just an easy no brainer type of product that you cannot go wrong with it. additionally helps by cutting down blow drying time, gives amazing softness, detangles, seals cuticules for extra silky hair, restores hydration balance. I love this product in my hair routine, it’s just the perfect extra something that my dried/heat/colour damaged hair could ask for.  BTW I also got the original formula, they are both good but the keratin that this one has, it just helps my hair to be more stronger, that’s why from now on I’ll be buying this one instead. WP_000778

remember that too much protein in the hair can damage it as well.

I was feeling adventurous that day at the ULTA Store, and saw this new line (at least new to me) and smelled it, and I was hooked. but let me tell you this silk express, it no joke, it really just go and do the job right in the second; I use it on wet/damped hair and once it’s dry, my hair it’s just so soft, looks healthy and smells amazing. Although I don’t know if this product just gives you the feeling of healthy looking hair instead of repairing it, but regardless of that It hasn’t done anything bad for my hair and I just love the way it feels. So I will highly recommend it if you want that amazing feeling of healthy and silky hair.

Let me know if you liked the Haul, and your thoughts on the products I bought, also let me know if you are currently using any of this or any new product that you think that I need to try out and do a review on it.

Don’t forget to give us your feedback, We love hearing from you guys ❤

7 Bad Habits That Can Ruin Your Hair

Hair Damage! One of those things that all girls are constantly worried about, and with good reason, think about it! think of all the Coloring, Highlights, Heat Tools, Sprays and all of the countless chemicals that goes into your hair and ruins it. But.. What if I tell you that you might have some habits that can also contribute with your hair getting more and more damage and m you might not be aware of them yet; But no worries we got you covered.

1. The first thing that comes to mind is Heat Damage, Seriously guys this can cause breakage, and as you know, breakage leads to hair loss.  To prevent this, try to cut down the amount of time that you put your hair under the heat by letting it air dry and then use the flat-iron, and try not to flat-iron and use a curling iron after, keep the heat to a minimum.

2. Not Using Heat Protectionthis can dry out the cuticle of the hair, which causes frizzy hair and breakage. I know it’s a pain and it takes a few extra minutes to incorporate heat protection into your hair routine, but, you’ll notice the difference that this little step will make with your hair. So take the extra effort, you have nothing to lose.

3.  Super Tight Hair Styles, Yep, that means no slicked back ponytails, super tight buns or braids. The traction that this gives over long periods of time can lead to inflammation of the root of the hair and ultimately causes hair loss.

tight hair4. I know that some people won’t like this one but, I have to say it, Quit chemically processing your hairThe chemicals that are used to color, curl or straighten your hair into a non-natural situation, do so by breaking and recreating molecular bonds; this is a serious chemical reaction that can be caustic and damaging to the scalp and follicles themselves. After several years of processing, some women lose the ability to grow hair permanently.

5. Manhandling Wet Hair, When your hair is soaking wet, it is weaker, more fragile and more susceptible to breakage. Try not to rough-dry your hair with a towel, and instead gently try to press the water out. Also, do not brush your hair while it is wet by if you need to do so use a wide-tooth comb, working from the ends of your hair on up, to prevent breakage.

6. Protect your hair from the sun, The sun can dry out your hair and make it prone to breakage, So! always remember to wear a hat or use a quality SPF spray on your beautiful strings.

.hats7. Eat a Well balanced Diet, Remember beautiful hair comes from the inside out, be sure to eat a balanced diet, that contains protein, omega-3, vitamins and biotin, so your hair can have all of the elements to grow the best hair that it can.

If you try to avoid or correct this bad habits you will discover more beautiful, stronger and healthy hair. Leave us a comment with your thoughts and also if you know of more bad habits that we might have that ruins our hair.
